There are two major installation steps:

  • The following standards are used for review of roof top solar mounting arrangement.
  • IS 875 – 2015 (Part 3) - Code of practice for design loads (Other than earthquake) for buildings and structures - Wind Load
  • IS.8147.1976 (1) - Code of practice for use of aluminium alloys in structures
  • Wind speed analysis is based on a simulation software, design verification and validation of roof top solar mounting structure.
  • Finite element analysis has been done as per the realistic condition
  • Maximum reaction is observed and compared with the Roof Fixation and its capacity (laboratory results) & suitable Codes and standards.
  • Maximum windspeed considered for calculation is up to 200 kmph or 55.56 m/s.
  • This analysis is purely based on Simulation software and is a result of data considered for the same.
